The EuroSTAR Conference takes place once a year and has grown to
become the leading event for Software Testers in Europe. There is
an incredible amount of work that takes place behind the scenes to
ensure that the EuroSTAR Conferences maintain the highest standards
and offers our community and delegates the very best of

Nicola McCombie
Hi, I joined the EuroSTAR Conference team as Conference Manager
in 2011. My role is widely varied on a day to day basis, which is
great - there is rarely a dull moment (proof reading copy being the
lesser of excitements, venue visits, online marketing and meeting
the EuroSTAR Community being the greater!)...and time certainly
flies quicker than it should!
I hail from a small town in the north east of Scotland (up near
Loch Ness). Having globe trotted for a few years, I settled in
Dublin for 7 years before the lure of the West took hold and I'm
delighted to now call Galway home. I'm really looking forward to
the year ahead, we have some exciting new developments in store, a
great team and the conference in Gothenburg will be a big
highlight. We hope you all enjoy attending as much as we enjoy
organising it! Until then, keep in touch with us and we'll keep you

O'Connor
Hi I'm Emer, I'm the Marketing & Events Manager with
EuroSTAR Conferences and I've been part of this wonderful community
for 3 years. I manage the relationships with our Community Leaders,
Supporting Organisations, media and software testing interest
groups & meetups. I'm also responsible for organising the
EuroSTAR community events and of course the highlight of this, the
conference.
I enjoy travelling, so it's wonderful to visit so many beautiful
European cities for the EuroSTAR events. I also enjoy socialising
with friends, reading, eating out, cold beers in the sun and I love
all sports - as a spectator! It's wonderful to work with all of the
EuroSTAR Community, and I look forward to meeting you at the next
EuroSTAR Conference!

Siobhan Hunt
I joined the EuroSTAR Conference team in 2007 and haven't looked
back since. I'm originally from County Roscommon (Irish midlands)
but Galway has been my home for so long now that I'm truly
integrated. I have a family of four - two reared, two still coming
up through the ranks. Love to golf when I get some free time -
blows away the cobwebs, and to relax a little with some light
reading and music.
I am responsible for the administration duties in the office. I
enjoy working with my colleagues and liaising with the testing
community throughout the year. I also interact with the programme
chair and committee, programme speakers and of course answering our
delegates queries. I also am responsible for delegate and group
registrations - and hopefully help make your experience at the
EuroSTAR Conference user friendly.

Daly
Hi all, I joined EuroSTAR Conferences as the Company Accountant
in 2007. I work part time with a fantastic team, get to travel and
meet loads of lovely people - it's a great combination.
I was born in America, grew up in Galway, Ireland, then immigrated
and worked as an accountant in California for twelve years. Then,
ten years ago, the hubby and I took the plunge and moved back to
Ireland and happy to say haven't looked back since. Galway is a
great place to raise our two girls.
Don't get much free time but when I do like nothing more than
catching up with friends over a few drinks on Quay Street. Add a
sunny evening to that equation and you get pure BLISS!

Hi, I joined EuroSTAR Conferences in 2012 & I love it! I'm a
Galway Girl but love travelling so it's great that the EuroSTAR
Conferences office is based here but that I also get to visit some
lovely cities for the conference too! They're a great team to work
with & everyone in the EuroSTAR Community are so nice & a
pleasure to work with!
I am part of the Online Marketing Team & look after a lot of
the Social Media so come say hi on any of the Social Media Networks
:) I also help with the Expo & Sales Team working with all the
lovely exhibitors to help get them ready for the conference. I am
really looking forward to the year ahead, we have plenty of
exciting things in store for you all, I'm sure it will be a great
year for the EuroSTAR Community!

Daragh Murphy
Hi, I am an Online Marketing Executive with EuroSTAR Conferences
as of November 2012. I am responsible for all the online activities
such as eBooks, Webinars, e-mail campaigns, newsletters etc.
I was born in Limerick and I love rugby - nothing like the
atmosphere of a Heineken Cup match in Thomond Park! Another passion
of mine is travel and I have been fortunate enough to have
travelled throughout Europe, the US and Canada. I love working with
the EuroSTAR Community and I hope to see you at this year's
conference in Gothenburg.
