BlogSTAR is a contest where software testers from across the
globe get to post on the EuroSTAR blog and give their views on
different aspects of testing. Contestants will get to blog
until October 15th, when a panel of test experts will
then select their best 3 bloggers from the contest. Then, the test
community get one day only to vote for their favourite. The
winning blogger, known affectionately as BlogSTAR will win an all
expenses paid trip to EuroSTAR 2010 where they will be the
EuroSTAR blogger for the duration of the conference.

Ajay Balamurugadas

Ajay Balamurugadas, is a software tester passionate to learn to
test any software. He has been awarded scholarship from Software
Testing Club and is a proud student of Miagi-Do School run by Matt
Heusser. He is co-founder of "Weekend Testing". Ajay shares

Adam Brown

I have been working in the IT industry for around 5 years and
for the last 4 years I've been a tester. I'm really passionate
about my job, hence the Blog! I'm still learning, and write from
the perspective of a young tester starting out in this crazy
industry.
Ard Kramer
Since 1997, I am working in
the quality and testing branch. I found that thinking
about & working on quality is my passion but I am also
convinced that looking at other branches will keep your
eyes & mind open. Therefore I try to learn from others and
see that the network society will help me to learn alot of new
things and using philosophy I am able to keep asking questions
without too many assumptions
Bogdan Bereza Jarocinski

MSc in Computer Science (Lund University), post-grdaute studies
in business psychology (London University). Has work experience
form Sweden, Poland and Germany, and teaching experince from other
countries as well. Participated as speaker in many
international conferences on SQA and Software Testing.
Dishit Devasia

Dishit Devasia has a bachelor's degree in Electronics &
Communication engineering and he has over 4 years experience in
performance testing having worked on different banking and finance,
insurance and life sciences related applications. He is an
ISTQB (foundation level) certified tester as well as Sun Certified
Java Programmer (SCJP). He has co-authored a paper on Performance
testing of mobile applications. His interests include blogging and
reading
Eric Jimmink

With a technical background as a developer / lead engineer, Eric
gradually chose the testing profession. He is a strong advocate of
agile development and testing, and passionate about sharing his
experiences. Eric co-authored a Dutch book about agile testing
which was launched at EuroSTAR2008, where he was also a
speaker.
Erik Petersen

Erik's an ex-dev, who's tested, managed & consulted on
dozens of applications, with deep knowledge of process, automation
& tools. He's mentored & trained hundreds of testers &
devs at conferences, workshops & workplaces.
Gerard Numan

12 years of experience in testing within various roles,
projects, companies and countries. Has a thorough knowledge of
testing methods, techniques and process improvement. Was a
speaker at international testing conferences (on chain
testing, risk based testing and testing data warehouses).
Accredited trainer (i.e. on ISTQB, TPI, Tmap, Chain Testing).
Graham Parsons

In his role as CEO, Graham is directly responsible for business
strategy and growth and has played a key role in the success of
Reflective Solution's flagship product - StressTester. Graham has a
wealth of experience in performance testing and regularly speaks at
international industry conferences.
Jesper L. Ottosen

Jesper L. Ottosen is a senior test manager at CSC working as a
release- and program test manager on large-scale enterprise UAT and
integration testing. Jesper's primary interests are improving
processes, providing management information, test tracking and
establishing test services. He is an active testing blogger on an
internal blog.
Lalatendu Rath

Lalatendu Rath has 8 years of experience in IT services industry
and currently leads the SOA Testing Practice Presales, Wipro
Technologies. He offers consulting on SOA test solutions and
strategies. Conversing about how technology can be made simpler to
understand and use interests him.
Matthew Sherlin
Sherlin is part of the performance testing team at Cognizant,
and has an experience of 5 years in PT, having worked with open
source and commercial tools.. She is an ISTQB (foundation level)
certified tester. Has participated in external events like Swiss
Tetsing Day, GTAC, and ISQT.
Malini Mohan Kumar
Malini resides in India and has over 10 years of
experience in IT including development, testing and project
management and her passion is in advancing the profession of
software testing. Active within the software testing industry,
Malini participates in public forums such as NASSCOM,
STEP-IN-Forum, QAI Forum and HYSEA, and her technical articles and
white papers have been published. She holds an MBA in IT and a

Paul Gerrard

Paul Gerrard is a consultant, teacher, author, webmaster,
programmer, tester, conference speaker, rowing coach and - a
publisher. He has conducted consulting assignments in all aspects
of software testing and quality assurance, specialising in test
assurance. He has presented keynote talks and tutorials at testing
conferences across Europe, the USA, Australia, South Africa and
occasionally won awards for them.
Shmuel Gershon
Shmuel Gershon is a software
tester fascinated by everything related to people and software
quality. He shares his life with a wife and 5 kids, all testers in
their own way. Shmuel thinks that the most significant factor
in our quest for quality is people, not features or technology.
Teemu Vesala

Thrash, trashing software, beating it to death, annihilation of
trust. And I'm writing about it. I am technical tester doing
security and performance testing and test automation. My background
is at development. I am curious; I want to find out how things are
working and how to break them.
