Introduction

For over a decade now the EuroSTAR software testing conference has been the most successful and widely acknowledged gathering of European software testing professionals, and for most people, the premier training and education event on the testing calendar. In December 2009, EuroSTAR took place in Stockholm, Sweden. It was a fantastic event certainly the premier event focused on Software Testing in Europe with over 700 attendees participating.

The conference takes place in a different host city every year, and so far has taken place in Cologne, London, Amsterdam, Manchester, Brussels, Edinburgh, Munich, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Stockholm and the Hague.

EuroSTAR 2010 will take place between the 29 November and  02 December in Copenhagen, Denmark. The first 1.5 days consist of Tutorial Training courses presented by world acclaimed testing experts, and providing the highest standards of training available. Tutorial Training courses take place on Monday from 8.30am- 5.00pm and Tuesday from 8.30am-12.15pm. Your Tutorial choice must be made when you register for EuroSTAR 2010. The conference and exhibition takes place over the following two and a half days.

The Conference

tutorial - Fran & KenThe 2010 conference will officially open on Tuesday lunchtime with a keynote session, and then the schedule splits into parallel track sessions. Each day there is a mixture of plenary (keynote) and track sessions with some advanced sessions for more expert testers. Typically there are up to 5-6 sessions happening at any one time. EuroSTAR is a packed programme, and the conference can be an intense learning experience, new delegates are advised not to try to attend every session, and to take some scheduled breaks where you get a chance to review your learning material, decide who you want to meet/network with, and say hello to the tool vendors in the expo area.

The Exhibition

Alongside the conference we run the EuroSTAR Test Tools and Services Exhibition. The exhibition opens on Tuesday afternoon and closes after the last coffee break on Thursday evening. Many of the leading companies within Software Testing will be represented at EuroSTAR 2010!

Call for Papers

The "Call for Papers" for EuroSTAR 2010 is now open - if you have a testing story to tell, knowledge to share or a tool/service to discuss, then you should submit to speak at EuroSTAR 2010.
