Please Note...
These guidelines only apply to those applicants who are accepted
as speakers on the 2012 EuroSTAR programme.
Things to include with your submission...
1. YOUR BIOGRAPHY
Your biography currently appears beside your session description
on the conference website at www.eurostarconferences.com Please
review this text. If you are happy with the content then you DO NOT
need to resubmit. However, if you would like to make changes then
you may submit your new biography in WORD FORMAT and not more than
150 words.
2. YOUR PRESENTATION
Your presentation will be accepted in POWERPOINT (.PPT) FORMAT
only. Please use large, easily readable fonts and keep each slide
as simple as possible. We will only accept fonts which are standard
to Microsoft Office 2003 - 2007.
It is important that you DO NOT change your presentation title.
DO NOT send .pdf files, as we will convert your slides once we
receive and check them.
Your company logo should appear ONLY ONCE in the course of your
presentation. We recommend that you use it either on your first or
last slide. Running headers and footers will not be accepted.
Supplemental handouts at the conference are discouraged and if
used must be reproduced and provided by the SPEAKER.

3. YOUR PHOTO
Along with your presentation slides please include your
photo in .jpg format. When
supplying photos, please make sure they are high resolution images,
taken with a good digital camera on the highest setting, or are
professionally taken. They need to be 300dpi for print, otherwise
they will print blurred, a good indication of this, is when they
are at least 1MB if not more in size. A good clear shot of the
head and shoulders is needed with no obstacles in front of the
image.
4. YOUR PAPER (OPTIONAL)
Written papers are OPTIONAL but strongly encouraged. All papers
should be submitted in WORD FORMAT. The first page of your paper
should provide the title, your full contact information and a short
abstract (70 - 80 words). References and footnotes should be at the
end of the paper.
EuroSTAR 2012 Best Paper Award...
All papers are then entered into the EuroSTAR 2012
Best Paper Award with the winner being announced at the Gala
Awards Night at EuroSTAR 2012.
